Keith Nelson, FSA, MAAA and his Actuarial and Management consulting firm Taylor Lake Creative, LLC (TLC); entered into a strategic partnership with Hause Actuarial Solutions in 2013, in order to provide actuarial services in support of Hause clients.

Keith has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.

Keith has nearly 40 years of experience as an Insurance Executive, Actuary, and Management Consultant. Keith has a reputation for visionary and creative problem solving, hands-on technical and product management experience, strong personnel management skills, excellent writing and communication skills, and a recognized expert in the business of credit related insurance and debt protection products. His experience includes serving the Financial Services Industry including credit unions, community/regional/national banks, other lenders, insurance companies, reinsurance companies, government entities and more.

His areas of expertise include: Product Design, Pricing, Product Management, Underwriting, Financial Modeling, Analysis/Planning, Reserves/Valuations, General Finance, Operations/Administration, Relationship Management, Personnel Management, Executive Management, Information Technology, and Compliance/Regulatory Advocacy.

Previously, Keith served as the Chief Actuary and Executive Vice President at Individual Assurance Company (IAC) and was a member of its Board of Directors. He has prior experience as a Consulting Actuary and Managing Director at CREDITRE; an actuarial consulting firm specializing in credit related insurance and protection products and as Vice President and Product Manager for Debt Protection Products at CUNA Mutual Group (CMG).
